The Myers’ cocktail is an intravenous vitamin and mineral infusion that was developed my John Myers, M.D. in the 1970′s. It contains vitamin C, B vitamins, calcium and magnesium in a base of sterile water. There can be slight variations in a Myers' cocktail. In fact, our nutrient packet Myers' cocktail are special because they contain active B12 called methycobalamin where many use a cheaper and inferior B12 called cyanocobalamin. Additionally our Myers' cocktail does not just contain B Complex, we use highly absorbable and high quality Vitamins B6, B5, B Complex, and methylcobalamin (B12), magnesium, calcium, Vitamin C and sterile water. By administering the vitamins directly into the bloodstream it bypasses the gastrointestinal tract and allows for maximal absorption and utilization of the nutrients. Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin found in animal products, such as dairy, eggs and meat that plays a vital role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system and is a key component in the formation of red blood cells.
