Egg Quality IV
NAD+ & Antioxidant Support for Egg Quality, IVF & Fertility After 35
Support fertility and egg health at the cellular level.
If you’re looking for ways to support egg quality, preparing for IVF, or concerned about egg quality after age 35, supporting the cellular environment in which your eggs develop may be an important part of fertility preparation.
Age is the strongest predictor of egg quality, and no treatment can reverse the effects of age on our eggs. However, research continues to identify potentially modifiable factors involved in mitochondrial function, cellular energy, oxidative stress, nutrition, and the environment surrounding the developing oocyte.
At Arizona Natural Medicine® in Chandler, Arizona, our physician-developed Egg Quality IV combines NAD+ with glutathione to provide targeted mitochondrial and antioxidant support during the months leading up to natural conception, IVF, or egg retrieval.
NAD+, Aging & Egg Quality
Egg cells have significant energy requirements and depend heavily on healthy mitochondrial function. NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is an essential coenzyme involved in mitochondrial energy production, cellular metabolism, DNA repair, and normal cellular function.
Research suggests that NAD+ levels and metabolism change with age, including within the ovary. These changes have increased scientific interest in the relationship between NAD+ metabolism, mitochondrial function, reproductive aging, and egg quality.
Much of the fertility research to date has investigated NAD+ precursors, particularly NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) and NR (nicotinamide riboside), which the body uses to produce NAD+.
Preclinical research using NAD+ precursors has shown promising effects on mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, oocyte quality, embryo development, and reproductive function in aging models. This growing area of research has led to increased interest in supporting NAD+ metabolism as part of understanding reproductive and ovarian aging.
Why NAD+ in an Egg Quality IV?
Our approach is based on this emerging understanding of NAD+ biology, mitochondrial function, and reproductive aging, but uses NAD+ delivered directly by IV rather than an oral precursor that must first be absorbed and converted through the body’s NAD+ pathways.
IV administration provides direct delivery into the bloodstream and bypasses gastrointestinal absorption.
While research surrounding NAD+ and oocyte aging is promising, IV NAD+ itself has not been established in human clinical trials as a treatment for diminished egg quality or as a method of improving IVF outcomes. Our Egg Quality IV is therefore designed to provide targeted mitochondrial, cellular, and antioxidant support as one component of comprehensive fertility preparation.
NAD+ + Glutathione
Our Egg Quality IV combines two important areas of cellular support:
NAD+ supports mitochondrial energy production and cellular metabolism.
Glutathione is one of the body’s primary naturally occurring antioxidants and helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Together, they provide targeted mitochondrial and antioxidant support during preconception, IVF, and egg-retrieval preparation.
Benefits of Our Egg Quality IV
Our Egg Quality IV is designed to support:
- Mitochondrial function and cellular energy
- Antioxidant defenses and oxidative-stress balance
- The cellular environment important for egg and oocyte health
- Preconception and reproductive wellness
- IVF and egg-retrieval preparation
- Mitochondrial and antioxidant support relevant to sperm health
Although designed primarily with female fertility and egg health in mind, mitochondrial function and oxidative-stress balance are also important to sperm and male reproductive health.

A Research-Informed Approach to Egg Quality
What Does an NAD+ IV Feel Like?
NAD+ can feel different from a traditional vitamin IV. When infused too quickly, some people may temporarily experience nausea, abdominal discomfort, flushing, chest pressure, or an uneasy sensation.
For this reason, the NAD+ infusion rate matters.
At Arizona Natural Medicine®, NAD+ IV therapy is given using a controlled infusion rate that can be adjusted based on individual tolerance and comfort. Higher NAD+ doses generally require longer infusion times.
Why Choose Arizona Natural Medicine® for NAD+ IV Therapy?
At Arizona Natural Medicine®, NAD+ IV therapy is provided within an established integrative medical practice rather than simply from an IV menu.
Our approach includes:
- Physician-guided IV therapy
- Multiple NAD+ dosing options
- Controlled infusion rates for comfort
- Individualized treatment recommendations
- Medical screening when appropriate
- Integration with broader wellness and healthy-aging plans
- Expertise in fertility, hormones, thyroid health, gastrointestinal health, and integrative medicine
Our goal is to understand why you are considering NAD+ therapy and determine how it may fit into your overall health and wellness plan.

Our Egg Quality IV is a physician-developed, research-informed fertility formula. As the science surrounding reproductive aging, mitochondrial health, oxidative stress, and fertility nutrition continues to evolve, our approach may also be refined to reflect emerging research and individual patient needs.
Egg quality is influenced by many factors, particularly age and genetics. IV therapy should be viewed as one component of a comprehensive fertility strategy that may also include nutrition, lifestyle, appropriate supplementation, hormone and metabolic evaluation, and fertility treatment when needed.
