Vitamin C IVs
Immune, Antioxidant, Energy & Collagen Support
Support your immune system and antioxidant defenses with high-dose Vitamin C IV therapy.
Vitamin C is an essential nutrient and powerful antioxidant that plays an important role in immune function, collagen production, tissue repair, cellular health, and energy metabolism.
At Arizona Natural Medicine® in Chandler, Arizona, we offer physician-guided Vitamin C IV therapy in doses ranging from 15 to 50 grams. Intravenous Vitamin C bypasses gastrointestinal absorption, allowing substantially higher blood concentrations than can typically be achieved through oral supplementation alone.
Our high-dose Vitamin C IV infusions may be incorporated into individualized treatment plans for immune support, fatigue, antioxidant protection, recovery, and overall wellness.
What Is Vitamin C IV Therapy?
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin required for many important functions throughout the body.
When Vitamin C is taken orally, intestinal absorption limits how much can enter the bloodstream at one time. Intravenous Vitamin C bypasses the gastrointestinal tract, allowing higher concentrations of Vitamin C to be delivered directly into the bloodstream.
Vitamin C plays important roles in:
- Immune system function
- Antioxidant protection
- Collagen synthesis
- Tissue repair and wound healing
- Cellular health
- Energy metabolism
- Iron absorption
- Neurotransmitter production
Potential Benefits of Vitamin C IV Therapy
Patients may consider high-dose Vitamin C IV therapy for a variety of health and wellness goals.
Immune & Antiviral Support
Vitamin C plays an important role in normal immune function and antioxidant defense. At higher concentrations, Vitamin C has also been studied for its antiviral properties and potential role in supporting the body’s response to viral infections.
At Arizona Natural Medicine®, Vitamin C IV therapy may be incorporated into an individualized treatment plan for patients needing additional immune support, including in cases involving Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), chronic or recurrent infections, and periods of increased immune stress.
Vitamin C may help support:
- Healthy immune system function
- The body’s natural response to immune challenges
- Antioxidant defenses
- Recovery and resilience
- Cellular health during periods of increased oxidative stress
Energy, Fatigue & Adrenal Support
Vitamin C is involved in several biochemical pathways important for normal energy metabolism. It is required for the production of carnitine, which helps transport fatty acids into the mitochondria where they can be used for energy.
Vitamin C is also found in high concentrations in the adrenal glands and participates in pathways involved in the production of certain hormones and neurotransmitters.
For patients experiencing fatigue, feeling run down, or going through periods of increased physical or emotional stress, Vitamin C IV therapy may help support:
- Energy and recovery
- Adrenal function
- Cellular energy metabolism
- Nutritional needs during periods of increased stress
- Overall resilience
Because fatigue can have many underlying causes, our physicians may also evaluate factors such as thyroid function, anemia, nutritional deficiencies, hormones, sleep, infections, and metabolic health when appropriate.
Collagen, Skin & Connective Tissue Support
Vitamin C is essential for collagen synthesis and acts as a necessary cofactor for enzymes involved in collagen formation.
Collagen is an important structural protein found throughout the body, including the skin, blood vessels, bones, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues.
Vitamin C therefore plays an important role in:
- Collagen production
- Skin health
- Connective tissue health
- Tissue repair
- Wound healing
Antioxidant & Cellular Support
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Oxidative stress can increase during illness, inflammation, environmental exposures, physical stress, and other periods of increased demand.
Vitamin C IV therapy may provide additional support for:
- Antioxidant defenses
- Cellular health
- Protection from oxidative stress
- Tissue recovery
- Overall wellness
Our High-Dose Vitamin C IV Options
Arizona Natural Medicine® offers several high-dose Vitamin C IV therapy options based on individual health needs and treatment goals.
Vitamin C 15 grams

Vitamin C 25 grams
Provides a higher concentration of Vitamin C for patients seeking additional immune, antioxidant, and cellular support.
Vitamin C 50 grams
Our higher-dose Vitamin C infusion may be incorporated into individualized treatment plans when more intensive Vitamin C and antioxidant support is appropriate.
Our Vitamin C IVs also include B-complex vitamins and IV fluids.
G6PD Testing & High-Dose Vitamin C
Safety is an important part of our approach to IV therapy.
G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase) deficiency is an inherited condition that can increase the risk of red blood cell breakdown when exposed to high concentrations of intravenous Vitamin C.
Although screening practices and dosing thresholds may vary, we require G6PD testing at 25 grams or higher as an added safety precaution before proceeding with higher-dose Vitamin C IV therapy.
Why Choose Arizona Natural Medicine® for Vitamin C IV Therapy?
At Arizona Natural Medicine®, Vitamin C IV therapy is provided within an established integrative medical practice rather than simply selected from an IV menu.
Our approach includes:

- Individualized Vitamin C dosing
- Appropriate laboratory screening
- G6PD testing for doses of 25 grams or higher
- Medical monitoring during IV therapy
